Obituary of Peggy Lee Carver

Peggy Lee Carver Age 58, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at home. Born in Pembroke, Ont., she was a daughter of Joan (Silver) Demond, New Germany and the late Cedric Demond. Peggy was a member of St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany; she was a volunteer for the New Germany Elementary School breakfast program, for which she had a great passion. She was actively involved in her community and worked tirelessly as a volunteer for many groups and organizations. She was an auxiliary member of the New Germany Volunteer Fire Department for which she was a member of the bowling team and was always proud to bring the winning trophy home several years in a row. Peggy loved a good game of cards; her pride and joy were her grandchildren. Surviving are her mother, Joan; husband, Roger; daughters, Terriann Carver (Ed Lohnes), New Germany; Tanya (Josh) Tibbits, Terrace, BC; grandchildren, ShayLynn Carver-Lohnes and Kenna Carver-Lohnes; sisters, Linda (Myles) Wentzell, Watford; Darlene (Daryl) Duncalfe, Wileville; brother, Laurie (Deanna) Demond, Upper Northfield; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation at the funeral by request. A Service of Celebration will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 14 in St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany. Rev. Catherine Robar and Rev. Mellanie Cohoon officiating. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to the New Germany Elementary School breakfast program or charity of choice.
