Obituary of Patricia Kathleen Mosher

Patricia Kathleen (Armstrong) Mosher Patricia passed away peacefully and with dignity on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the South Shore Regional Hospital in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. Born in Liverpool on June 8, 1935, Patricia was the daughter of the late Clifford and Kathleen (Morine) Armstrong of Brooklyn, Queens County. She was predeceased by her husband, Sgt. Earl Wallace Mosher, First South, Lunenburg County. She is survived by her loving family ; sister Elizabeth Danielson, Ottawa ; nephew Gordon Danielson (Sandra), Halifax ; niece Patricia Paquette (Russ), Ottawa ; great-niece Jessica Paquette, Prague, Czech Republic ; sister-in-law Marguerite Lace of Lunenburg and Marguerite’s children, Jean, Nan, Orlando, Leslie, all of Nova Scotia ; cousin Margaret Geldart, Toronto ; her very dear long time military friend Gladys MacNeil, Kingston, Ontario and long-time caregiver and friend Betty Reinhardt, Mahone Bay. Patricia was a graduate of the former Bridgewater Commercial College, an excellent secretary and proficient at shorthand early in her career, she worked for many years on military bases in Canada and Germany, and at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Pat and her beloved Earl enjoyed their extensive travels throughout Europe together. The family wishes to thank the compassionate and caring team at Harbour View Haven in Lunenburg for Pat’s excellent care. Thank you to the exemplary staff of professionals at the South Shore Regional Hospital for caring for Pat in her final days. If so desired, donations in Patricia’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, who provided grateful support to the military families during Pat & Earl’s three tours of military duty in post-war Germany. Cremation has taken place with a graveside inurnment service to follow this summer at Seaside Cemetery in Brooklyn, Queens County.
