Obituary of Paul Ernst MacLean

MacLEAN THIMOT, Paul Ernst – passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Northwood Center, Halifax with his mother at his side. He was 58 years old. He lived at Kings Meadow Group Home for several years in Windsor before moving to Northwood Center in Halifax three years ago. He was a very lovable and loved to give hugs to family and friends. He enjoyed watching wrestling videos and looking at wrestling magazines. He loved to go to church and would ask the pastor to pray for his mother each Sunday.

He is the son of Charlotte Burns and the late Paul Thimot. He is survived by uncles, Father Gordon MacLean, Bill (Rose), Danny (Joyce); aunts, Virginia Wolfe, Lillian Ehler. He was predeceased by Hughie, Bruce, Chester, Margaret and several nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank the staff and supervisors on the 8th floor and the palliative care unit of Northwood Center for their wonderful care and support. Donations can be made to the Downs Syndrome Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
