Obituary of Cyril Amos Wentzell

WENTZELL, Cyril Amos – Age 92, Veteran’s Unit, Lunenburg, formerly of Baker Settlement, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in the Veteran’s Unit, Lunenburg. Born in Baker Settlement, he was a son of the late Amos and Etta (Rhodenizer) Wentzell.

Surviving are his step daughters, Lucille (Bruce) Bailey; Anne Llewellyn (Paul Naugler); step son, Richard (Beverly) Zwicker; sister, Eudie Ritcey, Mahone Bay; special step-granddaughter, Jackie and many other step grandchildren; several step great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Esther Viola Wile; sisters, Margaret and Ruby; brothers, Nahmen, Roderick, Everette, Harris in infancy; step sons, Leonard Zwicker, Franklyn Zwicker.

Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, October 11 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater where a public legion tribute service will be held at 6:45 p.m. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, October 12 in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bridgewater. Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Private family interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only.
