I knew Chris for many years and got to know him well when I worked at TK's in the mid-1990s. This relationship grew with each visit and purchase over the years following. There were hundreds of stories, insults and encouraging moments exchanged over decades. His commitment to the community was pure and from a place of giving to improve the region, and he was very humble about the impact he had. I really liked Chris, appreciated everything he brought to our world and community, and I will miss seeing him again. I have a definite sadness knowing we won't cross paths again, but I know how fortunate I was to have him around. I shall carry on one of his greatest traits, muttering and mumbling as I walk away from someone who just insulted me or told a whopper of a yarn - I only hope I can do it with the consistency of Chris! On behalf of Ardella and I, our deepest condolences on this tremendous loss.
