I was so sorry to learn of Lisa's passing. We worked together for many years "back in the day" at The Rehab. Patient care was always first and foremost for Lisa. Thinking of all Lisa's family, friends, and colleagues at this sad time.
Melda and family, to say that it was a shock to hear about Lisa passing would be an understatement for sure... My memories of Lisa were of a caring, fun-loving little girl who grew up to be a beautiful caring woman. She was taken from her family far too soon and is now residing with her father who passed just a short time ago. She will be greatly missed by her family and also all who knew her. Rest in peace Lisa, spread your angel wings and shine your light on all who remember you.
My deepest condolences to the family. I first worked with Lisa back in 2005 at the rehab center. She was an excellent nurse, compassionate, dedicated to her patients and so much fun to work with (she would bring her magic 8 ball to team meetings and we would jokingly use it to make decisions). Lisa had a huge heart, and made a significant impact on so many of her patients’ lives. She was also one of the first nurses who I worked with who demonstrated true collaborative care with the whole team. I haven’t worked with Lisa in a few years now, but I will always remember her fondly. I know she will be missed by many. My prayers and thoughts are with her family, especially Ella and Connor who were whole world.

We have been neighbours for over 16 years and our children have been the best of friends since they were young. We have shared many good times watching them grow into young adults. May her memory be a blessing to you all.
