Loving Sympathy to Nancy, John, Peggy, Mary, Peter, Neil, and Melanie, & all family members, and the many who feel close enough to be "almost family". Judith and John were so much part of Barss Corner that tributes can scarcely be separated,, theirs was an exemplary union, their children known to uphold the good things they carry forth as taught by loving parents.
Judith was my personal mentor, in music, being my first piano teacher, encouraging me in singing in Church Choir, and
taking me to Hospital Chorus and Concerts. She was a humble, dedicated and talented musician sharing her talents to
encourage others. Her solos were highlights for all of us. Judith was an excellent homemaker and gardener, but even
above that I treasure the close relationship we had bringing up our combined families of 12 children in our homes on
the corner of the Barss Corner -Farmington Roads.... and never a cross word between us. We were one big happy bunch.
Tributes would not be complete without mentioning that even when she was in the Special Care Homes, she would assist
me with genealogy by phone. For our History Books of "Around The Corner" and "Strong Foundations", Judith was
so instrumental in providing data that we could not have written them without her. I am so very thankful for her
retentive memory, her attention to details, but most of all for guidance throughout the years. I think of her now
enjoying the heavenly gardens and beautiful music. God bless you all as we remember, Marlean (Taylor) Rhodenizer
