FRAIL, Murray Leslie – Age 78, of Lucasville. Passed away on October 20, 2022, at QEII Halifax Infirmary, to be with his Lord and Saviour.
Murray was born in Westfield, Queens Co., on September 27, 1944, to David and Sarah (Clayton) Frail. He is survived by his loving wife, Priscilla, of fifty-three years; sister, Lorraine Colp, Newcombville; sister-in-law, Donna Frail, Timberlea; nieces and nephews, Pam (Mickey) Savory; children, Adam, Amelia; Blair (Carla) Mansfield; children, Rachael, Matthew; Natasha (Ian) Freeman; children, Adriane, Claire; Michelle (Shawn) MacLean; children, Owen, Olivia; Galen (Angie) Colp; their child, Lyric; and Stacy (Fred) Walsh. Besides his parents, Murray is predeceased by his sisters, Virginia (Denton) Mansfield, and Lynn Conway; brother, Armel Frail; and brother-in-law, Mervyn Colp.
Murray was a carpenter by trade, and worked at Halifax Metro Housing, for thirty years. Murray sang in the choir, at the First Baptist Church, and attended prayer and bible study. He loved bluegrass gospel music and playing his guitar with family and friends. He also enjoyed playing Skipbo, as well as Crokinole.
A public visitation with the family, will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2022, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York St., Bridgewater. A public funeral service for Murray, will be held at C.F. Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York St., Bridgewater, on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 2 p.m., with Pastor Schant Manuel officiating. A public committal service will be held immediately following the service at Hillcrest Cemetery, in Westfield, with Pastor Schant officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are entrusted to C.F.
