Obituary of Chester Arenburg
Chester Merlin Arenburg
59, Springfield, Annapolis Co., passed away peacefully at home on May 5, 2005, surrounded by his family and friends. Chester was the son of the late Obed and Maggie (Acker) Arenburg. He spent his working career with the Dept. of Transportation, Aberdeen Paving and Dexter Construction and loved the outdoors, especially hunting, trapping and fishing. Surviving are his loving wife the former, Ann (Veinot). Sons, Wendell (Ann), Pinehurst; Terry (Kim), Springfield. Two grandsons, Matthew and Jesse. Sisters, Daisy Veinotte, New Germany; Rossie Medicraft, Florence Rhynard, Linda (Fred) Baxter, all of Springfield, special brother, Smiley and several nieces and nephews. Chester will be missed by his family and friends. No visitation at the funeral home by request. A private family committal service will be in Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Rev. Robert Gates officiating. All are invited to attend a celebration of Chester’s life at the home of Jeff and Annette Veinot, 1141 highway 10, Springfield, at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 7. No flowers by request and due to the generosity shown to the family in the past few months, they have requested no further donations be made.
