Dear Louise & family.
I know it's almost a year since Shep's passing, but for a spouse, time doesn't matter. We never accept the loss; only learn to live without them over time. There's always a void in our hearts.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
My sincere condolences over your loss of Shep. It's been many years since I've seen you both, but remember he was such a kind & gentle man.

Dear Louise and Family I was very sad to hear of Sheppie's passing and send my deepest sympathy to all of you. I have many great memories of him when he lived on North street and the Nauss trailer park and the fun times we has doing crazy stuff .He was always a big brawly bear with an even bigger fun loving heart and the people he came in contact with over the years will always remember that growly voice and how he was the fun guy at any event we all had the opportunity to be at with him . A great friend who would give you literally the "Shirt off his Back" and kind in every way .Rest in Peace old Buddy and I am sure if there is a baseball field there you will be on it !

I had the privilege of caring for Shep as he faced life's up and downs. He was always upbeat, kind, practical and thoughtful. His equally big friend "Ding" and he were delivering a school bus and were taunted by a car full of "cowboys". He finally put on his high beams travelling behind them. When they all got to exit 12, the car stopped at the roadside and so did Shep. The cowboys got out, but got right back in again when he and Ding stepped out. It pays to have been a bouncer!

Sorry to hear of Shep's passing. He was a great guy, teammate and player on our fastball team. Lots of great memories and good times. I remember him hitting a ball in a tournament on a field in Lower Sackville. The field never had a fence, but it wouldn't have mattered. Shep would admit that he wasn't exactly the speediest guy on the base path, but when he rounded the bases and touched home plate, the left fielder was still chasing the ball. With out a doubt the farthest I've ever seen a fastball hit. RIP. Cam Seamone

To the Family, So sorry to hear of Shep's passing, had a lot of good memories when Donnie worked with him at Ben's. It was quite a few years since I spoke to him until Dec 2018 when in hospital. He helped decorate the Xmas tree but thought it should have flashing lights, so one night our son Ryan put flashing lights on it to the delight of Shep when he got up the next morning, he wondered how they got there. We had quite the laugh as he wheeled down to it, he thought his eyes was playing tricks. Shep was rough on the outside but had a heart of gold, would do anything for anybody.
Please accept our sincere condolences at this difficult time.
