Obituary of Joan Madeline Tumblin

TUMBLIN, Joan Madeline – Age 90 of Cherry Hill, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 in the South Shore Regional Hospital. Born in Garden Lots, Lunenburg County on January 21, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Gladys (Eisnor) Allen.

Joan is survived by her sons, Christopher and Granville Tumblin, Both at home in Cherry Hill; sister, Frances Wambolt, Lunenburg; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Earlin Tumblin.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A private family service will be held. A burial will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Cherry Hill on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 3 p.m. Donations in Joan’s memory may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital ICU Unit (902-543-4603) or the IWK Health Center (902-470-8888).
