Obituary of Una Mary Smith

Smith, Una Mary – age 79 of Conquerall Bank, passed away October 28, 2021, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. She was born in St. John’s Newfoundland on October 15, 1942.

Una loved being with her family, they were her happiest and proudest moments, especially her grandchildren. She was known for her homemade cookies, ham dinners, brown bread, and Christmas Pudding. Una spent many years caring for children in her home. They all held a special place in her heart. She was a devoted member of the Conquerall Bank Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary.

There are no words to describe our mom, except to us, she was everything.

She is survived by husband, Arthur George Cross; daughters, Sherry (Blair), Shelly (Billy); son, Scott (Lindsay); grandchildren, Colby, Kassidy (Dev), Caleb and Taylor. She was predeceased by her first husband, Karl Frederick.

Private family graveside service will be held at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Conquerall Bank. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Conquerall Bank Fire Department, Maple Leaf Cemetery, or charity of choice.
