Obituary of Audrey Cecile Snyder

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Audrey Snyder (nee Myers) of Chelsea, Nova Scotia in her 88th year on February 20, 2025. She will be sadly missed by her husband and companion of over 38 years, Wayne Snyder. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Violet and Cecil Myers, and her brother George. She is survived by her sister Carole (George); her children, Wayne (Tanja), Bryan (Wendy) and Dean (Penny); grandchildren, Shauna, Kelsey, Dave (Brittany), Mathew (Avril), Joseph (Carly) and Samantha; great grandchildren, Rylee, Madilyn, Kylie, Ryann, MacKenzie and Chase.

Special thanks to the ICU staff at South Shore Regional Hospital, Patricia Mills and Wendy Mansfield for their loving care during the last few weeks. Cremation has taken place. Private celebration of life and burial will take place at a later date. Donations in Audrey’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
