Obituary of Leo James Selig

SELIG, Leo James – Age 84, Mill Village, Queens Co., died on Friday, April 11, 2025, in the Q.E. II Health Sciences Centre – Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Bridgewater, on March 2, 1941, he was a son of the late Basil Sylvester and Helen Frances (Corbin) Selig.

During Leo’s working years, he was a school bus driver for the local school system.

Surviving is a nephew, Scott Selig, Bridgewater. Besides his parents, Leo was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence, in 1994; and nephew, Brent Selig in 2020.

A public graveside service will be held, 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2025 in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater with Father Keith Billard officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the YMCA Lunenburg County or the Boy Scouts of Canada.
