Obituary of Donald Robert Wentzell

WENTZELL, Donald Robert – Age 78, of New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025, at home. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late Robert Charles and Greta Henrietta (Hirtle) Wentzell.

Surviving are his daughters, Cindy Wentzell, Lunenburg Co.; Ayasha Beck, New Brunswick and Natasha Wentzell, Ottawa; sons, Charles Wentzell, Ontario and Justin Wentzell, Bridgewater; many grandchildren. Step-children, Elaine Flemming, Cambridge; Sherry (Sandy) Arenburg, Upper Northfield; Rena (Adam) Selig, New Germany; James (Falon) Croft, Kentville; also surviving are his sisters, Lucille (Neil) Hebb, Pauline Conrad; brother, Myles (Maryann) Wentzell, many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his spouse, Eva Leary; daughter, Pamela Wentzell; brothers, Carl Wentzell and sister, Eleanor Wentzell; brother-in-law, Harold Conrad.

By personal request, there will be no service held. No flowers please, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
