Obituary of Fabian Joseph Earl Haas

HAAS, Fabian Joseph Earl, Cpl. – Age 27, of Halifax, formerly of Hebbville, Lunenburg Co., died December 8, 2025. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of Juergen Haas and Heather Knickle, Hebbville.

Fabian was a currently serving with the Canadian Army, Halifax, and was stationed in Windsor Park. Fabian was a trained heavy duty mechanic with the Canadian Armed Forces. He had a great love for all his dogs and never visited without many toys for them.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jonathan Haas, Hebbville; and siblings, Nathan, Tony and Natasha; maternal grandmother, Alice Knickle, Blockhouse; aunts and uncles, Elizabeth (Arnold) Mosher, Heather Wolfe, Peter Haas, Dieter (June) Haas, Darrell (Rosalie) Knickle, and Ursula Stackman; cousins, Nicole (Chad) Sperry, Ryan (Erica) Mosher, Scott (Cindy) Mosher; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by paternal grandparents, Walter and Irmgard Haas, maternal grandfather, Arnold Knickle Sr; uncle, Arnold Knickle Jr.

By request there will be no visitation or service. No flowers please, donations may be made to SHAID Animal Shelter.
