Obituary of Marie Kathleen Boehner
BOEHNER, Marie Kathleen - Age 95, of Chester, formally of Bridgewater. Passed away December 16th, 2025, in the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, following medical complications. Prior to that, Marie was a resident at Shoreham Village, a Long-Term Care facility in Chester, for the last three and a half years.
Born in Hastings, now Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Sadie (Arenburg) Burgoyne.
In her early years, Marie worked in Middleton for a brief time at the Hospital, and at the local grocery store. Mostly though in her years, Marie was a homemaker and housewife.
Besides her parents, Marie was predeceased by her husband, William LeRoy Boehner; brothers, Harold and Harry Burgoyne; and sisters, Pearl Acker, Elsie Pyne, Hazel Lowe, and Marium Burgoyne.
Marie is survived by stepson, Bruce Boehner (June); stepdaughters, Marlene Boliver (Robert) and Gail Hussy (Bud).
As per Marie’s request, there will be a private family Graveside Service only on December 29th, 2025, 1pm, in the Berwick Cemetery, Berwick. No flowers by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Health Foundation of the South Shore or a charity of choice.
