Sincere condolences to Junior’s family.
Being a friend of Jamie (son of Junior), I had the privilege of knowing Junior for most of my life. Many of my childhood memories were made at Junior’s home. He was always very pleasant and dealt with Jamie and l with a humorous discipline when we were doing our mischievous actions.
Midlife business caused me to lose touch with Junior for some time. Then my family starting to go and tag our Christmas tree on his wonderful well cared for tree lot. Upon cutting our tree each year I would go visit Junior and pay him for the tree. I would ask how much I owed him and every year he would give the same answer. “$15” he would say with a little chuckle. That answer was the same from day one many years ago. I would always throw in extra to stay on par with the times. I truly enjoyed our little catch up conversations with each yearly visit and will very much miss them at this time of year from now onwards.
