Obituary of Christine Anne Whynott

 

WHYNOTT, Christine Anne – Age 71, of Meisners Section, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, February 1, 2026, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in Cherryfield, she was a daughter of the late Donald Eugene and Lona Isabelle (Whynot) Burgoyne.

During Christine’s working years, she was first employed the Lunenburg Fish Plant; later worked with Kirk Forest Products – Christmas Trees, New Germany; then after many years of employment with the former, Pineview Farms of Pine Grove, she retired.

Christine loved country music, gardening, travelling and spending time with her family.

Surviving is her loving husband of 51 years, David Bruce Whynott; her children, Tanya Whynott, Meisners Section; Duane Whynott, Alberta; grandchildren, Arianna, Savanna (A.J.), Kyra, Austin and Leighton; great-granddaughter, Malaya; her sisters, Kimberley (Kelly) Veinot, Pinehurst; Susan Daniels (Colleen), Waterloo; many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Linda Sproule; Brian, Leonard, Roland and Ross.

There will be no visitation or service by request. No flowers please, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
