I did not know Marie however through my sister, Evelyn Beeler I understand Marie was a lovely lady. Thank you Evelyn for watching out for Marie, getting her groceries, taking her meals and all you’ve done. I’m sure Marie is watching over everyone. My sincere condolences for the loss of a special.

As Marie’s baby sister my heart is broken that she has left us, I looked up to her all my life & cherished our relationship. She was a strong, beautiful & independent woman, humble and totally selfless. She never asked for help but was eager to always assist others. Marie was generous, caring and giving. She never gave herself credit for being the incredible person she was and what she meant to so many over the years and in all the places she lived and the lives she touched.Yet she praised the talents and accomplishments of her loved ones and dear friends. She lived a quiet life, enjoying simple pleasures - music (Elvis & Conway Twitty were favs), watching movies, doing puzzles, reading, writing journals, planting flower gardens, animals and nature. She always professed her deep love and respect for her mother, her children, her siblings and of her birthplace. Her death has left a void in our world and in the lives of all who loved her. May she rest in peace, as we take comfort in knowing that as we loved her, so she also loved us.

Joey and I had the honor of having Marie as a friend. I called her my second Mom. It was a privilege to get advice from Marie. Joey and I enjoyed our chats with her. Marie was a woman of much knowledge and great stories. I am so lucky to have the memories of us walking my Grandsons and dog along the lake, going for drives to the Valley, and Marie coming to Mom's birthday parties (at one, her granddaughter attended). We are truly thankful for having her in our lives. Marie will be missed.
Pussycat, we will always love you.

I will always treasure the memory of meeting Marie in 1976 at Canadian Forces Station Lowther, and she quickly became a dear, caring friend. She was always there for me, particularly during my pregnancy, and I honestly don't know how I would have survived those early days after our daughter was born without her kindness. Marie was someone who always spoke her mind and never failed to make us laugh. She was truly a blessing in my life, and we will miss her dearly. May her soul rest in peace with our Heavenly Father.
