Obituary of Marie Wile

WILE, Margaret Yvonne Marie (Archibald) – Age 89, of New Glasgow, formerly of Bridgewater and New Germany, died on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow. Born in Upper Smithfield, Guysborough Co., on May 26, 1936, she was a daughter to the late Densmore William and Mabel Viola (George) Archibald.

Marie is survived by her sons, Greg (Marilyn), Gerry (Deanna), and daughter, Rhonda. She had eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Gloria (Ken) Bartlett and Myrna (Gerry) Matthews.

She is predeceased by her husband, Rhon Wile; sisters, Ruby and Jean and brothers, Terry, Leo and Gary.

By personal request, cremation has taken place and no service will be held. No flowers please, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
