My sweet aunt Leora was a big part of our family. In my childhood took us to Chester for fish n chips, gave treats from her store on St. Phillips St. when she kept us girls when mom and dad traveled to Ontario. At Nannys on Wright Ave. she always brought joy to the family. Leora never forgot moms birthday or the christmas turkey.Denton and Leora took me and my son to the parade in Bridgewater and she prepared fresh mackerel for us to share with Edwin. She looked after him too. My boys and husband enjoyed the McLeod cottage playing cards with her while it rained. Last visit in Lunemburg she was joyful being with us girls again. There was a white pigeon came to me the day she passed away and I prayed for a sign she was at peace. We are all forever thankful for her generous and loving ❤️ and Im sure we'll be together again in heaven. Condolences to all my Oickle relatives. Love Sandy McIntosh (Lexies daughter)
