We look back fondly on the many years that Julie was our neighbour on Shore Drive. We usually watched the Bedford fireworks from their deck. She kept an eye on our house when we were away. She gave us practical advice about grandchildren. One summer, she got tired of looking at the unpainted trim on our deck and asked us why we didn't paint it. We were waiting for one of our grandsons to come out and paint it. She told us not to wait for grandchildren, because they're too busy. She was right about so many things. Doug and Billie
My deepest condolences to Julie’s family. We shared a grandfather, Robie Freeman, and had some great discussions about family. I knew her briefly as a child, and renewed acquaintances when we both lived in Bedford and she shopped at the Village Green !

Julie was such a special person to me. I did her hair every Thursday at 12pm for over 20 years. Her friendship meant so much to me and I looked forward to her weekly visits. She will be missed by many but her sense of humor and her practical outlook on life will always bring good memories! My condolences to her friends, family and Kerry.
