My friends who used to come to the Montreal Canadian games have passed on Freddy,Peter and Jimmy. We all enjoyed their visits and the good stories they told.

Having grown up in Bridgewater many years ago where I first met and became friends with the Murray family, I am shocked to read of Jimmy's sudden passing. He was the little brother to Cathie and David (Packo) who were close friends at that time in our lives. Having moved to Empire Street close to my mother I got to see Jim every once in awhile when visiting and it was great to reconnect. His passing will be a big loss to the area. My condolences to Debbie, Cathie and their families at this sad time. A good man gone way too early.

I was introduced to Jimmy by my brother in law Chris, he joined us on a New Brunswick moose hunt which his company was most enjoyable. We shared some great conversations about salmon fishing and other tales in the garage. Jimmy was a lad who was certainly pleasant to be with and will be missed.

I know it has been many years since we were all skating back on Fancy Lake, or boating out to the islands, or going to pick out our Christmas trees together, but I remember Jimmy being a huge part of the fun that we all had. Although we didn't know Jimmy for along time, he certainly made it easy to seem like we did. We had the pleasure of being part of his family circle on a few vacations. I remember asking....will they mind us tagging along ? The response was oh no you will love Jimmy

We are so sorry to hear about Jimmy. As long-time neighbours on Empire Street, there was never a time when I passed your house, that if he was in the yard, that Jimmy didn’t stop to talk. Not a a casual wave but a genuine “How’s everyone doing.” We were just talking the other day about the time Jimmy came to the rescue one weekend years ago to replace a leaking water heater for Karen…he definitely was a “Mr. Fixit”.
