Tuesday, July 21, 2026 – The day I said Goodbye to my best friend, Ron Mitchell. Also known as “Dad”, “Ronnie”, or “Mitch”.

Surviving Ron are his wife of 50 years, Diane (Wilson); their son, Jared; his daughters, Trina and Krista; his for legged friend, Boo; sister, Linda (Ken) Hirtle; nephews, Austin (Allison), Jamie (Masha); brother-in-law, Rick Wilson; nephew, Trav (Alex); great-nephew, Lucas; sister-in-law, Linda Wilson (Edson Johnson); niece, Venessa Wilson (Chris Mintern); and great-nephew, Wil.

Ron had a saying “Friends come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.” He was fortunate enough to have many friends who fell into each category.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the South Shore Regional Hospital, where Ron was treated with respect, compassion and the best of care. There will be no service by request. Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater.
