Obituary of Lee Robert Veinotte

Lee Veinotte – age 67, Hebbville, Lunenburg Co., passed away peacefully at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of Margaret (Croft) Veinotte, Camperdown, and the late Robert Veinotte.

Lee worked at Michelin in Bridgewater for 35 years before retiring, where you could then always find him in the mornings at Tim Hortons having his cup of coffee, with his best friend Hemi.

Survived by son, Patrick Veinotte, Hebbville; sisters, Shelley (David) Maddox, Pine Grove; Cathy (David) Veinotte, Hebbville; special niece, Nanette (Shawn) Hiltz, Bridgewater, and many friends who became family.

He was predeceased by the love of his life, Patricia (Conrad) Veinotte.

Thank you to all the staff at South Shore Regional Hospital for making his stay as enjoyable as possible. A special thank you to Dr. Anne Chaisson, and his 2 favourite people Stacey and Nora. 

No visitation by request. A public graveside service will be held 1 p.m., Monday August 17, 2026, in Harbour View Cemetery, Lower Rose Bay. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater.
