John, ( Johnnie as we knew him ) was truly one of the best and will always remembered by all that knew him.
Johnnie was always ready to help me, even after his work hours.
I would call him, ( some times often ) and say I needed a loader tire fixed to get the Kirks tree yard up and running by 7am.
Johnnie would say, when do you want to fix it, after work, 6 or 7 pm or 5:30 - 6 am tomorrow morning. NEVER did he say, I don't
have time. Johnnies work ethics/ attitude was always positive, and always gave my wife and I a candy.
