Obituary of Jamie Teresa Brewer

BREWER, Jamie Teresa – Age 47, of New Germany, Lunenburg Co., died on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, after a 15-month courageous battle with cancer.

She was born October 2, 1978, in Prince Rupert, British Columbia.

Jamie was a CCA at the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany, where she loved taking care of the residents. Her hobbies included reading, watching movies, spending time with her many animals; she loved her “mini farm”, which included her chickens, ducks, geese and rabbits; but she especially loved her German Shepherd dogs.

Surviving is her daughter, Adina (Tyler), and granddaughter, Sally Jane, of Springfield; husband, Joel, New Canada; her Mom and Dad, Pollyanna (Michael), Liverpool; sister, Lindsay (Kim), Bridgewater; father and mother in-law, Bruce and Jane, New Canada; sisters-in-law, Amanda, Danesville; Lisa, New Canada; several other in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brother Stephen; and sister, Holly.

By her personal request, there will be no services held at this time. No flowers please, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
