Obituary of Gordon William Corkum

Gordon William Corkum 88 of Lunenburg, formerly of Middlewood, passed away on Friday September 12, 2014 in Harbour View Haven for Special Care, Lunenburg. Born in Beach Meadows, Queen’s County, he was the son of the late Jordan and Latisha (Bush) Corkum. Gordon is survived by his sons Derrick Corkum, Middlewood and Ben (Tasha) Corkum, Edmonton, Alberta; grandsons Logan and Jaxen along with several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by wife Mary (Llewellyn) and sisters Marion, Muriel, Shirley and brother Vincent. Visitation will be held 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Monday September 15 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Tuesday September 16 in Middlewood United Church, Rev. Vivian Moores officiating. Burial will follow in Middlewood United Cemetery. Family flowers only, please.
