Obituary of Thomas Albert Fisher

of Thomas "Tom" Albert Fisher FISHER, Thomas Albert - 77, Halifax, died November 9, 2008, in the VG Site, QEII. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Earl Fisher and Amelia (Sharp). He was employed with Sears for 33 years. He is survived by Alice (Cranidge), his devoted wife of 55 years; daughters, Deborah (Howie West), Ottawa, Ont.; Cathy (Lennie Walsh), Bedford; son, Thomas Jr. (Danielle), Sackville; grandchildren, Rebecca, Candace, Rachel, Faith, Len Jr., Aaron and Jaimey; sisters, Joyce (Bernie), Louisdale; Elsie, Bridgewater; Noreen, LaHave; brothers, Reg, Bridgewater; Clyde, Windsor. He was predeceased by infant daughter, Alice; sister, Rhoda; brothers, Howard, Gilbert and Ed. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held in Edgewood Oxford United Church, Friday, November 14, at 2 p.m., reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated
