Obituary of Hilda Fralick

Hilda "Lucille" Fralick With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on October 14, 2006 at the QEII Hospital, Halifax. She was born on April 15, 1926 in Lunenburg County and spent all of her life there. During her married life with her husband Arnold Duncan, she lived in West LaHave. After his death in 1975, she moved to Bridgewater and still enjoyed her remaining years with her many friends. She was a modest but determined lady who was committed to her family, friends and community. She loved her gardens but still found time to volunteer for various charitable activities during her life. She was a former member of St. Peters Anglican Church (West LaHave) and current member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church (Bridgewater). She is survived by her son, Arnold (Susan) Fralick, Windsor Junction, granddaughters Melodie Fralick, Toronto and Johanna (Danny) McLeod, Saint John, great-granddaughter Kate McLeod and her sister Pauline Whynot. The family would like to extend their special thanks to her dedicated neighbors Pat, Walter and Pauline, and Dave and Cathy. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. No visitation by request. A service to celebration her life will be held 11am Wednesday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Alexandra Ave., Bridgewater, Father Ron Appleton officiating. Private family burial will be in the family plot in West LaHave cemetery. Family flowers only. Memorial donations may be made of Lucille to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, SHAID Animal Shelter or Bridgewater Inter Church Food Bank. Online condolences may be made at www.sweenysfuneralhome.com.
