Obituary of Marjorie Robar

Marjorie Alexandra Robar 81, North River, Lunenburg County, passed away on Sunday, July 23, 2006 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in North River, she was a daughter of the late Lemuel and Idella (Daniels) Ernst. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River; she was the community correspondent for the Family and Friends newspaper column of the Bridgewater Bulletin; she enjoyed rug hooking, quilting, playing bingo and traveling. Marjorie had a magnetic personality and was loved by all who knew her. Surviving are her daughters, Erna (Beverly) Sarty, North River; Audrey (Willis) Sarty, Bridgewater; Janet (Eric) Russell, North River; Elaine (Jessen) Langille, Bridgewater; son, Jerry (Bonnie), Cherryfield; daughter in law, Shirley Robar, Stanburne; sister, Arlene Robar, North River. 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren; companion, Joe Tzagarakis; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest H. Robar; son, Arnold; infant son Merle; brother, Murray Ernst. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Service 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River. Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating. Private family interment in Epworth Cemetery, New Germany.
