Obituary of Frances Muriel Crouse

CROUSE, Frances Muriel – Age 93, Springfield, Annapolis Co., passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Lethbridge, Alberta, she the daughter of Thomas and Minnie (Berringer) Brewer.

Frances loved to bake, cook, sew, knit, crochet and quilting, she was a dedicated homemaker with the skills to prove it. She was a long-time and faithful member of the Springfield Baptist Church, singing in the choir and always helping when she could; she was also a member of the Women’s Missionary Society. Frances enjoyed her residency with Lohnes' Rest Home in Scarsdale and the friendships she had with the other residents and was especially thankful for the wonderful care given to her.

Surviving are her daughter, Marilyn Graham (Glenwood), Simpsons Corner; granddaughter, Kathy Bayers (Barry Crouse), Stanley Section; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Bayers.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Russell; daughter, Dianne and two great-granddaughters, Shelby and Trisha.

Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m., Friday, March 23rd in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. Service of Remembrance will be held 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Springfield Baptist Church, Springfield with Rev. Lester Simpson, officiating and Rev Robert Gates assisting. Interment will follow in Springfield Baptist Cemetery. Flowers accepted, donations may be made to Springfield Baptist Church or charity of choice.
