Obituary of Elreta Maude Daniels

Elreta Maude Daniels 92, North River, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2009 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in North River, she was a daughter of the late Emery and Laura (Acker) Robar. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, North River. She was an avid card player, enjoyed having company, playing cards, bingo, shopping and going for a drive. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her daughter, Valerie Daniels (Leo Cashman), North River; daughter in law, Hilda Daniels, Ont; sons, Roger (Bernice) Daniels, North River; Cedric (Alice) Daniels, Conquerall Mills. 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by first husband, Wilbert Daniels, second husband, Guilford Daniels; son, Carroll; daughter, Geneva Coady and one in infancy; sister, Stella Arenburg; brothers, Caleb Robar, Elwood Robar. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany, where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday. Rev. Larry Ehrhardt officiating.
