Obituary of Andrew Orris Woodsworth

Woodsworth, Andrew Orris – 69 of Bridgewater, passed away in South Shore Regional Hospital on October 17, 2023. Born in Picton, Ontario on December 5, 1953, he was a son of the late James and Roxie Woodsworth formerly of Mount Pleasant, Lunenburg County.

Andy's passion was the sea. He sailed as deckhand on many boats and later sailed with his Chief Engineers papers on various ships, taking him to many parts of the world, including Africa. He was jack of all trades including repairing engines and transmissions in vehicles. His favorite being Trans Ams. He loved his family deeply and would do anything he could to help anyone. His fun-loving spirit and devotion will be missed and fondly remembered by many family and friends.

Andy is survived by daughters, Michelle, Waverly; Sherry, Bedford; son, Joseph “Joey”, Windsor, Ontario; grandsons, Micheal, Jordon, Jase, Ryland, Wyatt, Jullian; sisters, Sharon (Miles), Lake Centre; Connie (Cale), New Cumberland; brothers, Ronnie (Carolyn), Middlewood; Larry (Helen), Wileville; Loran (Marlene), Fancy Lake; good friend, Tammy Mosher, Bridgewater; Lifelong Friend. Donald Harmon, West LaHave; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, James, and Roxie Woodsworth. 

Graveside memorial will be held at a later date in Harmony Cemetery, Harmony. Donations in his memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice.
