Obituary of Beverley Joy King
KING, Beverley Joy – Of Maidstone, SK. It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Beverley Joy King (nee Graves) on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the age of 57 years.
Bev was predeceased by her parents, Maxwell Graves and Leora Graves-Stevens (Zinck); sister, Rhonda; and nephew, Adam.
Bev leaves behind to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 33 years, David; sons, Max (Megan) and Isaiah (Makenna); granddaughters, Aubrey and Hannah; brothers, Ron (Trina), Peter (Angela) and Todd (Suzanne); several nieces and nephews; and too many friends to count.
Bev was a wife, a mother, a grandmother (nana), a sister, an aunt, a cousin, and a friend with a smile for anyone she encountered.
Her passing happened quite quickly and unexpectedly. Although the couple days we spent by her side seem like a blur in time, both long waiting for results and updates, but absolutely not long enough when saying goodbye.
A Celebration of Life for Bev will be held on Saturday, March 30th, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York St., Bridgewater, NS, with Rev. James Haughn officiating. Family flowers only, in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Battleford Union Hospital Foundation, Box 1358, North Battleford, SK, S9A 3L8.
