Obituary of Kenneth Mailman

Kenneth William Mailman 56, Of Hebbville, Lunenburg County, passed away May 18, 2007 at his residence in Hebbville. Born in Bridgewater, he was a son of the late George ‘Pidge’ Mailman and Auralie (Comeau) Mailman. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Heather Leigh Mailman, Halifax; son, Karl William Mailman, Edmonton; brother, Carroll Mailman, Halifax. He was predeceased by brother, Gary Mailman. Ken was a long time employee of Nova Scotia Power and a very talented artist, much like his mother. “Kenny” always had a joke to share and a smile for everyone. He was an animal lover (especially kitties), who supported and volunteered at S.H.A.I.D. animal shelter. Ken loved the town of Bridgewater, especially spending time at Fancy Lake, which brought him so much happiness over the years. In accordance with Ken’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on June 28th, 2007 in Sweeny’s Funeral Chapel, Bridgewater, Rev. Paul Jensen officiating. A reception will follow in the Bridgewater Fire Department. No flowers please by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or S.H.A.I.D. Animal Shelter.
