Obituary of James Malcolm Hardy

James Malcolm Hardy Age 75, Italy Cross, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in Queens Manor, Liverpool, where he had been residing. Born in Italy Cross, he was a son of the late Cecil and Elva (Zwicker) Hardy. Surviving are his wife, Theresa (Sarty) Hardy; sons, Darren (Tracy) Hardy, Merrimack, N.H.; Jeffrey Hardy (Marion Fraser), Bridgewater; grandchildren, Sarah and Ben; sister, Judy (Arthur) Sharpe, Oak Hill; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Marilyn Wakerill, Jean DeLong; brothers, Glen, Gary and half-brother, Leslie Himmelman. There will be no visitation at the funeral home by request. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, February 25 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater with Rev. Vivian Moores officiating. Interment will follow in the Middlewood United Cemetery, Middlewood. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Middlewood United Church, Italy Cross/Middlewood Fire Department, Queens Manor or Liverpool Dialysis Patient Donation Fund.
