Obituary of Chad Edward Oickle

OICKLE, Chad Edward - Age 43, Bridgewater, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in South Shore Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Chad was a son of Ken (Bonnie) Oickle of Maplewood and Joanne (Keith) Hatfield of Halifax. Surviving are his beloved grandmother Elizabeth Oickle, Bridgewater; daughters Caitlyn; Haley (Jeff) and son Christopher; brother Colin (April) and sisters Megan (Jason), Cara and Emilie. Step sisters Lorri (Joseph), Shannon (Tim) and step brother Wayne (Jennifer); aunts Shirley (Tom), Susan (Rick) and Laurie (Jim); grand-son, Brody, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Chad was predeceased by grandparents Eldon Oickle and Charlie and Edith Johnson. Chad had a never ending love and devotion to his grandmother, Elizabeth. Chad was never happier than when he was in the woods. Chad’s family would like to thank the staff of Ryan Hall, the staff at 7.3 QEII and 4th floor staff at SSRH for the care and comfort provided for Chad. At this time there will be no visitation or service held. No flowers please. Donations may be made to the Palliative Care of the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore or a charity of choice.
