Dear Lana and Family,
Like everyone else, I am sad to know of Eugene's death. Ever since I met him in High School I have always known him to be a gentleman. Even in those early days, Eugene was someone who stood out in the group as a fine person who commanded respect from those around him simply by being such a fine person.
To Lana: How fortunate you were to find your soul mate so early and to have had the opportunity to journey through life with Eugene. His loss will leave a void in your life that can never be filled. May memories you made together help to sooth your broken heart.
To Eugene's children: Although I don't know you personally, I am sure each of you are a reflection of the respectable man who was your father. How fortunate you are to have had such wonderful parents to be your role models and to guide you through life into adulthood. He has been recognized for his contributions to the community and work place and has received many donors over the years. However, it is the quiet work he did in the lives of people that will live long after his death. Honour his memory by living your own lives in accordance with the way he lived his life, in that way his memory will live on.
