Dear Frances, Jeff and Josh,
Dougie....such a kind, caring, warm sole. He always wore a big smile and had a wonderful laugh. He loved a good joke or two, and would even laugh at the bad jokes! He was a real gentleman. He will be missed. We send our deepest sympathy to all of you. Take Care and God Bless! We are thinking of you during this difficult time.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Douglas. He was a friend , a kind and considered person. Remembering his trucks and how proud he was of them; the sound of the truck coming up the hill loaded with hardwood and leaving with pulp or logs; the evening barn visits and the making up of firewood. He was a proud family man. Always willing to talk and enjoy a joke, he will be missed by many and the community also. To Frances , Jeff and family sending deepest sympathy in this time of loss.
Warren/Valerie Meisner.

Frances and Jeff, I have fond memories of Douglas and his truck proudly driving though New Germany. He always waved or made a friendly gesture to us children on bikes. He was a man who worked hard and was proud of his family. Warm Regards, Glen and Anne-Marie Veinot Hammonds Plains.
