Obituary of George Edward Bruhm

BRUHM, George Edward – Age 78 of Branch LaHave, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017 at home. Born in West Northfield, he was a son of the late William and Florence (Joudrey) Bruhm.

George enjoyed many different activities, but he loved fishing, hunting and four-wheeling.

Surviving are his wife, Patricia “Patsy” (Falkenham); daughter, Aileen Bruhm (Larry Crouse), Nineveh; sons, Wade, Wentzell Lake; Ricky (Janet Feener), Bridgewater; Terry (Annette), Branch LaHave; Keith (Satnam), Vancouver Island; grandchildren, Devin, Alicia, Jacob, Mikayla, Greyson; great-granddaughter, Adhara; brothers, Lawrence (Helen), Cookville; Paul (Margie), David (Paulette), all of Bridgewater; Robert, West Northfield; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, James.

Visitation 7-9 p.m., Monday, May 8 in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Memorial service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday in St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, West Northfield with Rev. Svante Olson officiating. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Maple Grove Cemetery or VON Lunenburg County branch.
