How lucky I was to know Doris and have her in my life! A lovely lady who looked after me on Thursdays when I was a boy. Fixed me lunch when I came home from school, sang to me and introduced me to country music, showed me ways of looking at life that I will not forget including the example of hard work with an optimistic outlook,and imparted wisdom to guide me as a person about what is important about life. Always a big smile, a kind word, and a hug. Always so cheery, so determined regardless of whatever came her way in life. A brave, strong, kind, and loving person. A person who would do anything to help anyone. A person who put others before herself. A person that we should all aspire to be! On behalf of myself and my mother I offer our sincere condolences to your family at this difficult time. And to Doris, I love you,I shall miss you a lot, and I will always remember you! Rod

I have many fond memories of visiting Aunt Doris, even as a child. She was always caring, loving and so very kind. So glad I got to see her this past April.

So sorry to hear of Doris,s passing, she was such a nice lady, always stopped to talk and chit chat, wheather it be how we were doing, and years ago she always asked about Janice and her children. Such a caring lady and will surely be missed by all who who knew her, thinking of you all at this sad time. Earth has one gentle soul less, And Heaven one angel more......
