Obituary of James Henry Warner

WARNER, James H. “Harry” – Age 95, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on June 27, 2017 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Dartmouth, he was the son of the late James and Sarah (Patterson) Warner.

Surviving are his sons, Robert (Mary), Bridgewater; Jimmy (Linda), Sydney; grandchildren, Terri Warner, Bridgewater; Laura Warner, North River; great-grandchildren, Gracie Forward (Laura); sister, Dorothy (Jack).

Besides his parents, Harry was predeceased by his wife, Gwyneth “Gwen”; sister, Barbara; brother, William (Doris). Family flowers only please, donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church fund, Canadian Cancer Society or South Shore Regional Hospital.

Arrangements entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, where visitation will be 7-9 p.m., Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Friday, June 30 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Father Jim MacDonald OMI officiating. Burial will be at a later date in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Bridgewater.

Reception will follow immediately in the parish hall.
