Obituary of Shirley Marie Demone

DEMONE, Shirley Marie - Age 68, New Germany, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2017 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Born in New Germany, she was a daughter of the late John Oswald Russell and Alma Pauline (Joudrey) Russell Dorey.

Shirley loved the simple things in life, her gardens, animals and the outdoors.

Surviving are her sons, Glen Demone (Fern), Sudbury; Gregory (Wanda) Demone, Wileville; Geoffrey, North River; grandchildren, Tyler, Emma and Brooke; sisters, Eva (Mervin) Zinck, New Germany; Barbara Lohnes, North River; Judy (Gregory) Whynot, Springfield; brothers, Lester (Elaine) Russell, Springfield; William Russell, Cookville; Graham Russell, Wembley, Alb.; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m., Wednesday, September 6 in Sweeny's Funeral Home, 4895 route 10, New Germany. A private family committal for immediate family will immediately follow in St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Cemetery, New Germany. Rev. Catherine Robar officiating.
