Lauretta, Adam and Angie,
I have so many great memories of Arnie that I will keep close always. He was a close and very true friend. I am lost without that nightly phone call where we talked about our days. Over the years we talked about so many things. Some days he needed an answer to a question or problem he was having and other days he had the answers to mine. Between the two of us we could probably solve the world’s problems if we put our heads together.
Arnie loved to talk about food and his garden. We often reminisced about our childhoods. He would tell me so many stories of trapping and fishing with his Dad as a young boy. He loved his camp and being back there relaxing with a cup of tea. Having the raindrops bouncing off the tin roof was what he loved to hear.
I am physically unable to be there during this difficult time but my heart is there alongside you all. Arnie was such a wonderful friend and loving family man and we are all better people because of the time he had with us. I will miss that call every evening, I will miss my friend.

Lauretta and Family, We are still so shaken by Arnie's passing. We love the pictures you have posted here. They bring back so many memories of fun times together. We called Sweeney's yesterday to find out how to watch the service while it was happening but were told we would not be able to. Maybe because we are from the states?
We hope people shared many happy memories of Arnie and that it brought a laugh, a smile and maybe even a tear or two. From our hearts to yours, we will be with you always and so will Arnie. Love, Don and Midge

To Arnold`s Family:
Gary and I were saddened to read of Arnold`s passing. We grew up together in Middlewood. We always had lots of fun. I always thought of Arnie as "My Hero". Keep your memories close to give you comfort in the difficult days ahead. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Take good care of each other, that's what Arnie would want. Hugs to you.
