Obituary of Gladys Virginia Keddy

KEDDY, Gladys Virginia – Age 83, Hillside Pine Nursing Home, Bridgewater and formerly of Chelsea, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in the home. Born in Waterloo, Lunenburg Co., she was a  daughter of the late Farish and Ellen (Woodworth) Frederick. She was a member of the Chelsea Baptist Church, Chelsea where she served as a treasurer and Sunday School teacher. She was a past member of the Women’s Institute. She was a devoted wife to her late husband, in running the family farm, she was also an avid hunter. Surviving are her daughters, Bonnie (Allan) Finck, Buckfield; Letty (Boyd) Veinot, Grand Prairie, Alb.; grandchildren, Blain Finck (Angie Mansfield), Tyler Finck (Stacey Klaver), Shane Veinot (Danielle Perry); several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Henry Willard Keddy; sister, Pauline Uhlman. No visitation at the funeral home by request. A private family interment of ashes will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hillside Pines Nursing Home.
