Obituary of Lester Lloyd Zwicker

Zwicker, Lester Lloyd- Age 89 of Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday, January 16, 2018 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born in Laconia, he was a son of the late Elam and Lydia (Weagle) Zwicker. Lester worked on the family farm and sawmill until he left home to start his own business. With the help of his wife Yvonne, he owned and operated a trucking business in Bridgewater for 73 years. Lester was a hard worker, always willing to help anyone who needed it. He loved music and his dog Maggie. Lester is survived by sons, Tommy (Carol) Zwicker, Auburndale; Jackie (Jocelyn), Zwicker, Wileville; Perry (Donna) Zwicker, Pine Grove; sisters, Barbara Zinck and Helen Feener; brother, Earl Zwicker; grandchildren, Jennifer DiPaolo, Matthew Zwicker, Brenden Zwicker, Ryan Zwicker (Kathy) and Michelle (Ian) Laird; great grandchildren, Sofia DiPaolo, Dominic, Mila; many nieces and nephews. Lester was predeceased by sisters, Carrie Selig, Margaret Johnson and Hazel Knox; brother, Clairmont Zwicker. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. There will be no visitation by request. Funeral service will be held 1pm, Sunday, January 21st in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater, Pastor Fran Boutilier officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Bridgewater. Family flowers only, please. Memorial donations may be made to South Shore Regional Hospital or a charity of choice.
