Obituary of Marion Jean Conrad

Conrad, Marion Jean -86 of Bridgewater, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Queens Manor Home for Special Care, Liverpool.  Born November 29, 1931 in Hebbs Cross, she was a daughter of the late Clarance and Hilda Keddy (Kaulback).

Marion was a long time member of the Rebekah Lodge, Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Central Group, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and a proud member of the Progressive Conservative Women’s Association.  She is survived by daughters, Sandra Emenau, Bridgewater; Debbie (Stephen) Loughnan , Halifax; sister, Irene Bowman, Alberta; grandchildren, Heather (Chad) Ellis, Arcadia; Kelly (Jesse) Sarty, Pine Grove; great-grandchildren, Myles and Emma Ellis, and Owen and Aila Sarty; many nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by her husband, Lester “Elmer” Merton Conrad and a brother, Burton Keddy.

A memorial service will be held Friday, February 16th, at 11 am in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater with Rev. Paul Jensen officiating.  A reception will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Hall. Interment will take place in Hillside Cemetery, Branch Lahave. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, Queens Manor, Liverpool or a charity of choice.
