The Lodge That Gives offers accommodation to cancer patients and their families living more than 50km away from the cancer treatment center in Halifax. Nova Scotia cancer patients stay free of charge and meals are provided at no cost. Family members and/or support persons are invited to accompany a patient at the Lodge and pay a small daily rate for their room and meals (Please note: There is no charge for a parent or guardian staying with a child, an escort required by a transplant patient, or an ENT patient requiring help with their feeding tube). Out-of-province patients and relatives of hospitalized patients may access the Lodge if beds are available.

A cheque or cash must be sent to our office for processing.
